ChRiStMaS dAy!!!!!!!

Christmas was really GREAT this year. On Christmas morning Terry and I woke up and opened gifts from each other and Terry gave Sophie her gift. It was nice to just enjoy Christmas with our little family. After we got ready we went to my parents' house again and had a BIG lunch. My Mom's parents and one of her sister's came over and we opened more gifts. Everyone was in such good moods and joking and playing around with each other. We had a lot of really good laughs! After that we rested for a few hours and then went to Terry's Mom's house and ate dinner with her and Robert and Felecia. After dinner was finished we exchanged stockings and gifts and then played Catch Phrase. It was a lot of fun! We had a wonderful day and we can't wait until next year to do it again!!

"It was the night(s) before Christmas..."

So, I know I am a little late writing about Christmas and all, but I have been insanely busy. Christmas was absolutely wonderful though. On the Wednesday night before Christmas Terry's dad came over and we cooked dinner and opened presents. We had a good time. Terry's dad got him a grill and grill tools. It was pouring down rain that night, so he had some problems getting it to our house. First of all, he lives in a house where his a driveway goes straight down. Well, he decided to put his truck at the end of the driveway and just push it into the truck bed. While he was doing that a wheel popped off of the grill and fell down the hill while the rain started pouring down. So he had to get it all put together again and get it into the truck. On the way to our house the grill tipped over and some of it fell out into the road and he had to stop and get it. Needless to say he was a little frustrated and wet by the time he got here, but we absolutely love it and are so thankful to him for giving it to us!! He also gave me a gift card to Home Depot. We are using it to help pay for a new front and back door!

Christmas Eve night we have a tradition of going over to my parents' house and eating pizza, then opening presents from our immediate family. It was wonderful. Terry and I asked for things to redecorate the house with, so we got 16 door knobs and 2 ceiling fans! I know we are crazy, but we think we are just practical! It was fun to watch everyone open their gifts! I am so glad everyone liked the ornaments I made them! They were a lot of fun to do! Here's some pictures from that night....
